San Antonio!

A few weeks ago we decided to go on a much needed mini vacation. We hadn't taken a 'real' vacation as a whole family in a very long time, so we thought we'd head West to San Antonio. Neither Trevor nor I had ever been there before so we thought we'd give it a try. We left Wednesday afternoon and the first night we were there we ate at an amazing Mexican resturant. A little marachti band came and serenated Logan. She loved it! She was clapping her hands and dancing the whole time. I wish I'd brought my camera!

Thursday we went to the San Antonio Zoo. Logan loves animals and the Houston Zoo so we thought we spend some time there. Not impressed at all. The animals were in extremely small concrete cages. I felt so bad for them. After the zoo we headed to the Alamo and then to the Riverwalk. The Riverwalk was pretty neat. We took a River boat tour and then walked it later that night.

Friday we woke up early and headed to Sea World. Sea World was great. Hardly any crowds. We were able to see all of the shows and exhibits. All of us, including Logan, fed the dolphins. Almost the whole time we were there Logan was pointing to the animals saying Whoa! Sea World by far was the highlight of our trip. We headed back to Houston Friday night. We had such a fun time relaxing and spending time together as a family. Hopefully we'll be able to sneak another mini vacation in soon!
